Where Your Contributions Go
Inside the Church
Your generosity helps transform the lives of people within our congregation. There are many young people participating in LifeGroups through our children and student ministries. We have choirs, handbells, and bands that engage the youngest of members to the oldest. Our adults participate in LifeGroups, Bible studies, Women’s Circles, and more every week.
Outside the Church
We are a tithing congregation which means that at least 10% of our operating budget is dedicated to Missions. Whether we are helping provide food to local school children over the weekend when they might not otherwise have anything to eat or whether we are providing housing to those transitioning out of homelessness, Advent is busy making a difference in the Simpsonville area. And, while we partner with numerous groups locally, we also work with organizations from South Carolina all the way to Tanzania.
Ways to Donate
There are many different ways to give to Advent, and we appreciate your generosity.

Offering Plate
You can donate by placing your contribution in the offering plate on Sunday mornings. If you wish for your donation to be included on your giving statement, use an offering envelope, and be sure to include both your First and Last Name on the envelope.

Recurring Gifts
Set up recurring donations by authorizing a scheduled auto-draft from your bank account on the 1st or 15th of each month. Or schedule weekly, monthly or quarterly contributions through your online banking Bill Pay option.

Securities Donations
Donating assets such as stocks, certain bonds, or mutual funds are always welcome. To make a securities donation, please contact our Church Accountant.

Wills/Estates/Trusts
Giving in the future is a wonderful way to ensure the ministries of the church have the resources needed by giving through wills, estates, and trusts.
Please contact your estate planner for more information on how you can provide for future ministry needs through this type of gift.
