March Mission Madness – Register Now!
Standing with Saints
March 17th – 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
We have an awesome opportunity through March Mission Madness to share the love of Christ with our community! Our date is Saint Patrick’s Day, and we want to encourage you to serve in honor and in memory of the Saints that have made an impact in your life. The March Mission Madness team is securing work sites and contacting team leaders, and we hope you and your family will join us!
Meeting Time and Breakfast-to-Go
We will start the day with a gathering in the Christian Life Center at 7:00 am and then head out to work for the morning at assigned work sites. We will provide a biscuit and banana breakfast to go! Typical work includes light construction, painting, landscaping, sorting/organizing, and missional activities for children.
Childcare at Advent will be provided for children ages 3 and under. There will also be mission projects at the church for children in K4-1st grade. 2nd graders and older are encouraged to work with their families at a site.
Let’s Go Fishing! Bring a Friend!
This is a great fishing expedition, too! You are encouraged to share this day of service with friends from outside Advent as well. This is a great opportunity to share the Advent experience with others all while spending the day serving as the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
Register NOW! Registration Deadline is March 1st!
To help the planning team be prepared for March Mission Madness, we hope you will register NOW! There will be no cost this year! Please register as soon as possible as this will allow us to properly place everyone in the appropriate service sites.
We will also have special Saint Patrick’s Day T-shirts that you can order when you register! The cost for T-Shirts is $10.
If you would like to donate to March Mission Madness, our March Extending the Table offering on Sunday, March 4th will be used for building supplies.

New Email for the Advent Care Team
The Advent Care Team recently had a group email box created to streamline any care needs. This email box is monitored by the care team and depending on the need we will pull in the necessary team members to best handle the request. The care team continues to serve through prayers, cards, meals and prayer shawls. Please reach out to us at [email protected] to learn more about how we serve our congregation.
In the event of bad weather, we will communicate the status of the church in reference to closing via Facebook, email, website, WYFF Channel 4, WSPA Channel 7, and the church voicemail.
