Blanket Drive for Triune Mercy Center

Blanket Drive for Triune Mercy Center

Brrrrrrrr!! Are you starting to feel the chill in the air? Winter is just around the corner. There are so many who do not have the warmth of indoors, sleeping out in the cool, dark night with no shelter to help keep them warm.

The Gleaner’s Sunday School Class is sponsoring a BLANKET DRIVE for Triune Mercy Center, and you can help by donating a warm blanket!

There will be a large box at the Dining Room entrance of the Christian Life Center that will allow you to drop your donation/blanket in on the 8th and 15th of October. Blankets will be given to Triune on the fifth Sunday in October,  which is the same day when Advent will be serving the meal.

Triune suggests twin and double size blankets because the recipient will have to carry this blanket with them as they move about each day. NEW AND/OR CLEANED USED BLANKETS ARE ACCEPTABLE.

New Email for the Advent Care Team

New Email for the Advent Care Team

The Advent Care Team recently had a group email box created to streamline any care needs. This email box is monitored by the care team and depending on the need we will pull in the necessary team members to best handle the request. The care team continues to serve through prayers, cards, meals and prayer shawls. Please reach out to us at [email protected] to learn more about how we serve our congregation.

Future Inclement Weather Communication

In the event of bad weather, we will communicate the status of the church in reference to closing via Facebook, email, website, WYFF Channel 4, WSPA Channel 7, and the church voicemail.
