We offer Sunday school for K3-5th grade. Our focus is on learning God’s story and applying it to our lives through a variety of activities and lessons. Each month we have a theme that connects different Bible stories to our lives. The children learn through story, song, games, discussions and other fun activities.
We offer Sunday school for 1st -5th grade, using the same exciting approach but in a multiage group. We welcome all children to participate in Sunday school and get that wonderful start on a lifelong Spiritual Journey!
All children’s classes meet in the Education Building, along the main hallway. Each class has a sign out front indicating the grade or age level. Parents are asked to sign in and sign out their children and to let the teachers know of any allergies or any other concerns they may have. We are an inclusive congregation and will work with you to accommodate any special learning needs your child might have. We also encourage parent participation to partner with our classes by serving in the classroom to lead or assist in the lesson time.
To sign up, volunteer, or receive more information about Children's Sunday School, please contact Anne Shelton.
We look forward to seeing you this Sunday!
Sunday school offerings for Students are just one of the many Life Group opportunities provided for students at Advent. These Sunday morning life groups provide students an opportunity to connect in smaller communities to dig deeper into God's word and grow both as an individual and as a community.
We believe, as a group, that iron sharpens iron, and that it is in God we grow. We come from all walks of life and ages, giving each other prayer and advice as we journey together.
